Welcome to our monastery's virtual space. This website is dedicated as a tool to connect everyone who is interested in supporting or answering God's calls through the Redemptorists' charisms.

We are the Vietnamese Redemptorists of the Vice-Province of Extra Patriam. Our religious order was founded in 1732 by Saint Alphonsus Liguori with a special mission to spread the Gospel to the poor and most abandoned. Presently there are over 5,500 Redemptorists working to spread the Gospel of Christ in most parts of the world.

The Vietnamese Vice-Province is part of the worldwide community of Redemptorist confreres. Our first residence in the U.S. was founded in 1979 at California. After many years of abundance blessing from the Lord, we now have several communities in our Vice-Province serving the Vietnamese people accross Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, and Tucson.

Saint John Neumann Monastery is one of the four formation houses to guide postulants in studying philosophical program. Our door is always open for those who want to taste the goodness of the Lord... Come & See for yourselves the unique lifestyle of our Alphonsian spirit.
